Have you ever wondered how a product which cannot be stored is nearly always available when you press the switch? How the generators produce the exact amount of electricity demanded by the customers?
Attendees gained an insight into how one of the best examples of a "Just in Time Process" is achieved. This event included a visit to the Northern Ireland Electricity Generation and Transmission Control Room and 2 short presentations:

18.15- Arrival. Tea and coffee served
18.30- Introduction by Robin McCormick (approx 25 Minutes)
18.55- Sustainable Energy talk by Jenny Boyd (approx 25 minutes)
19.20 and 19.40 - the group was split into two, and taken separately a on a 20 minutes tour of the control room. Sandwiches were served and those remaining had an opportunity to network.
