Joint event with IET: Microsoft, Security and Vista
Tuesday 7th November 2006

Where: Wellington Park Hotel
When: 6.45 for 7pm
 


In a well attended and fascinating event, Dave Northey of Microsoft spoke about security threats to computer users, and a range of technologies that they are deploying to counter them. Dave also demonstrated Windows Vista itself, due for realease later this month, and showed us a number of new security features.

We were also shown a range of resources on best practice in deployment, configuration and security of their products:
